Designbuild is Australia’s largest and the most prominent building expo showcasing the very latest ideas and products for professionals from the building and design industries. The newest building products and technology for residential, commercial and industrial/construction and design in this year’s event is the largest ever staged featuring more than 440 exhibitors from Australia and 16 overseas countries.
Designbuild also offered intensive educational seminars to visitors daily featuring some of Australia’s hottest architects and designers. In addition, Designbuild is hosting the NPCAA Builders, Engineers and Architects Seminars, BDAV Professional Development Seminar, Home conference and Natural Stone Seminars.
AHE Corporation showcased its brand of AHE natural stone products and UM wall covering materials during the Designbuild 2006 Expo from May 28-31, 2006 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. AHE stone products comply with the stringent standard of Australian Building Codes (BCA), which is the status of building regulation produced and maintained by the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) on behalf of The Australian Government, State and Territory Governments.
With its consistent exports to Australia monthly, AHE anticipates about 50 containers a month in year 2006 to Sydney and Melbourne directly from its group’s stone production bases in different regions of China. Besides its own bases in China, AHE also exports its wide range of AHE natural stone products from its long-time counterparts in India, Belgium, Italy, South America, Turkiye and Germany.
AHE will be taking part in The Malaysia International Landscape and Garden Festival, also known as LAMAN 2006, to be held on July 6-16, 2006 at Tasik Perdana (Perdana Lake Gardens) at Jalan Parlimen, Kuala Lumpur. LAMAN 2006, one of the largest landscape shows in Southeast Asia akin to Chelsea Flower Show in the United Kingdom and Sentosa Flowers in Singapore, is organised by the National Landscape Department, Ministry of Housing and Local Government, Malaysia and is hosted by the City Hall of Kuala Lumpur.
Exhibitors from Malaysia and foreign countries will create over 80 exceptional displays and presentations in a park setting environment. LAMAN 2006 will also target about 500,000 visitors this year. This year AHE Corp. will be exhibiting its wide range of AHE natural landscape stones, including new products from wall décor, pavers, garden furniture to streetscape products. Umehiko’s theme garden this year is named “The Garden of 8” featuring modern Islamic, European flavors with natural stones. This garden is built on a 400 m2 area – an area five times larger than that of its garden showcased in the first LAMAN festival in year 2004, when its theme garden “Tanah Air Malaysia” was the winner of the Merit Gold Award.
